Preface

This is another book of mine, a kind of recipe book. In my other books I wrote about things like product and LLMs. In this one I want to show you how to make a product.

What do you do when you want to cook something? You look at a recipe book, or you learn. How do you make a website?

I will tell you how I make the most popular things with vibecoding. Simple tutorials. How do you make your own website? How do you make an iOS app? How do you make a project?

Basically, Tony Stark is a vibecoder with unlimited tokens.

I believe anyone can learn anything. Outside academic work, knowing some CS should be as ordinary as knowing how to sew a button. Everyone should be able to make the ideas they dream of real. Most importantly, everyone can learn how.

Whatever field you come from, I believe you can make things. You can make something because you need it, because a friend needs it, or because you are curious. It does not all have to be about business and money.

I do not believe CS has been replaced by AI. C++ did not make COBOL disappear, Java did not make C++ disappear, and Python did not make Java disappear. I think of working with an LLM as another level of language through which we tell a computer what we want. Of course, it can misunderstand us and produce wrong code. Learning how the things we build work is still useful.

My advice when starting something is to begin with wild courage. Did they reject your application? Sometimes you can say, I could do this too, and carry on with your own idea. As the Turkish saying goes, two heads are better than one. Whatever you do for a living, try your idea too.

I believe that, for once in history, anyone can build anything. That is the possibility that makes me want to share what I learn.
